About Afroman
Afroman is an American rapper, singer and musician from California, born Joseph Foreman in 1974. His comic, laid-back hip-hop became widely known through “Because I Got High” and “Crazy Rap,” often called “Colt 45”; both tracks appeared on the major-label collection The Good Times.
Afroman performed at Cypress Hill’s Smoke Out festival in 2001 after “Because I Got High” found a broad audience. He has since taken his catalogue to clubs and festivals, delivering the songs as a vocalist and guitarist, and has also performed at the Gathering of the Juggalos.
