About After School
After School is a South Korean girl group formed by Pledis Entertainment that debuted in 2009. Built around an admission-and-graduation membership concept, the group became known for dance-pop songs including “Because of You,” “Bang!,” “Diva,” “Flashback” and “First Love,” as well as the albums Virgin and Playgirlz.
The After School First Japan Tour 2012: Playgirlz took the group to Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka, followed by an encore concert at Tokyo Dome City Hall. They returned in 2014 for another Japanese tour built around the album Dress to Shine.
