Afterhours are an Italian alternative-rock band formed in Milan in 1985 by singer and guitarist Manuel Agnelli. After beginning with English-language material, they established an Italian-language catalog that includes Germi, Non è per sempre and Quello che non c’è; “Male di miele” appears on their key album Hai paura del buio? In 2009, Afterhours performed “Il paese è reale” at the Sanremo Music Festival. A 2014 anniversary tour presented Hai paura del buio? in full, and in 2018 the band marked three decades of recorded work through the Afterhours 30 Years concert at Mediolanum Forum in Assago.
