Agonoize are a German dark-electro and aggrotech group formed in Berlin in 2002. Their harsh electronic sound and German-language vocals are represented by tracks such as “Koprolalie” and “Staatsfeind,” and by albums including Assimilation: Chapter One, 999 and Sieben. Agonoize have performed at Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig and M’era Luna in Hildesheim, bringing their club-oriented electronic set to major gatherings of the German dark scene. Their festival history also includes Amphi Festival in Cologne. The group performs with programmed electronics and forceful lead vocals, while theatrical blood effects and staged body-horror imagery center on frontman Chris L.
