Ags Connolly in Gateshead

Ags Connolly is an English singer-songwriter from Oxfordshire who writes traditional country and honky-tonk songs. He established his recorded catalogue with the album How About Now and followed it with Nothin’ Unexpected, Wrong Again and Siempre; “When Country Was Proud” is among his best-known songs. Ags Connolly opened concerts for Rosanne Cash on a UK tour and later supported The Delines on European dates. He has also headlined his own club and theatre shows around Britain. He has performed at Black Deer Festival in Kent and Maverick Festival in Suffolk.
