Ahir Shah in London

Ahir Shah is a British stand-up comedian and writer, born in London in 1990. His tightly structured comedy addresses politics, religion, family and British-Indian identity, while his television appearances include Live at the Apollo and Have I Got News for You. At the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Control and Duffer were nominated for the main comedy award in consecutive years, before Ends won that prize in 2023. He subsequently toured Ends, and a performance recorded at London’s Royal Court Theatre became a Netflix special.
