About Ainhoa Arteta
Ainhoa Arteta is a Spanish soprano, born in Tolosa in 1964. She is known for lyric roles including Mimì in La bohème, Violetta in La traviata and the title role of Manon Lescaut, as well as for performances of zarzuela and Spanish song.
Arteta made her Metropolitan Opera debut in 1990 as Clorinda in La Cenerentola. She later sang in opera productions, orchestral concerts and recitals at houses including the Teatro Real in Madrid and the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona.
