Ákos in Budapest

Ákos is a Hungarian pop-rock singer-songwriter, born in 1968, who first became known as the frontman of synth-pop band Bonanza Banzai. His solo catalogue includes the albums Karcolatok, Ikon and 2084, as well as songs such as “Ilyenek voltunk” and “Keresem az utam.” The Andante concert programme recast his songs in acoustic arrangements and was documented on a live album and concert film. He later toured behind 2084 and Igazán, combining new material with work reaching back to Bonanza Banzai in large productions at Papp László Budapest Sportaréna.
