Alan Carr is a British stand-up comedian, writer and television presenter, born in Weymouth in 1976 and raised in Northampton. He is best known for hosting the television talk show Alan Carr: Chatty Man and co-presenting The Friday Night Project, while his stand-up draws on family life, relationships and everyday embarrassment. The 2007 Tooth Fairy Live tour produced his first stand-up DVD and included a performance at London’s Hammersmith Apollo. He later toured the arena show Spexy Beast, followed by Yap, Yap, Yap!, Not Again, Alan! and Regional Trinket.
