Alan Jackson in Mazatlán

Alan Jackson is an American country singer-songwriter, born in Newnan, Georgia, in 1958. His traditional country sound and plainspoken writing are heard in songs including “Chattahoochee,” “Don’t Rock the Jukebox,” “Remember When” and “Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning).” His major albums include A Lot About Livin’ (And a Little ’bout Love) and Drive. The Grand Ole Opry inducted him as a member in 1991, and he has returned to its Nashville stage throughout his career. He marked 25 years in music on the Keepin’ It Country Tour in 2015, then took the Honky Tonk Highway Tour to arenas and amphitheatres. In 2022 he began the farewell run Last Call: One More for the Road Tour.
