Alejandro Filio is a Mexican singer-songwriter, born in 1960, whose acoustic music belongs to the trova and nueva canción traditions. He is known for songs including “Brazos de sol,” “Mujer que camina” and “Vienes con el sol,” as well as albums such as Hay luz debajo and Un secreto a voces. Alejandro Filio has toured Mexico and other Latin American countries, performing his songs with acoustic guitar. His appearances in Mexico City have included the theatre-sized Teatro Metropólitan and the more intimate Lunario del Auditorio Nacional, keeping the songs and guitar at the centre of each concert.
