Alessandro Cortini in Hamburg

Alessandro Cortini is an Italian musician and composer, born in 1976, who makes ambient and experimental electronic music and performs as a member of Nine Inch Nails. His solo catalogue includes the albums Avanti, Volume Massimo and Scuro Chiaro, and he has also recorded under the name SONOIO. He joined the Nine Inch Nails touring lineup for Live: With Teeth in 2005 and remained through 2008. Cortini returned to the group for Tension in 2013, then premiered his solo audiovisual work Avanti at Berlin Atonal in 2014. He later performed on the 2018 Cold and Black and Infinite tour.
