About Alessia Cara

Alessia Cara is a Canadian pop and R&B singer-songwriter born in Brampton, Ontario, in 1996. Her debut single “Here” introduced her restrained, conversational writing, while the album Know-It-All produced “Scars to Your Beautiful.” She also recorded “Stay” with Zedd and won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist.

She mounted the Know-It-All Tour in 2016 and opened for Coldplay on dates of the A Head Full of Dreams Tour that year. The Pains of Growing Tour followed in 2019, when she also supported Shawn Mendes on the North American leg of his tour.
