Artists
Alex Cameron is an Australian singer-songwriter from Sydney who plays synth-pop and soft rock. After performing in the electronic trio Seekae, he established a solo catalogue through albums including Jumping the Shark, Forced Witness, Miami Memory and Oxy Music. His best-known songs include “She’s Mine” and “Stranger’s Kiss,” a duet with Angel Olsen. In 2018, Alex Cameron supported The Killers on their Australian arena tour. Live in San Francisco later documented his band at The Chapel, and shows supporting Miami Memory and Oxy Music took the same full-band format into clubs and theatres. Saxophonist Roy Molloy has remained a central member of that touring lineup.
Kirin J Callinan is an Australian experimental rock singer-songwriter and guitarist from Sydney. He first played in Mercy Arms and Jack Ladder and the Dreamlanders before releasing the solo albums Embracism, Bravado, Return to Center and If I Could Sing. His best-known song, “Big Enough,” features Alex Cameron, Molly Lewis and Jimmy Barnes. Before establishing his solo live act, Kirin J Callinan performed as a guitarist with Mercy Arms and Jack Ladder and the Dreamlanders. Following Embracism, he toured his own material through clubs in Australia, Europe and North America; in 2017, he supported Mac DeMarco on North American dates.
