Alex Diehl in Düsseldorf

Alex Diehl is a German singer-songwriter, born in Traunstein in 1987, who writes German-language pop and rock. He is best known for “Nur ein Lied,” written in response to the 2015 Paris attacks, and for the albums Ein Leben lang and Bretter meiner Welt. In 2014, he represented Bavaria at the Bundesvision Song Contest in Göttingen with “Ein Leben lang.” Two years later, he performed “Nur ein Lied” and “Silhouetten” at Unser Lied für Stockholm, finishing second in Germany’s Eurovision selection in Cologne.
