Alex Fernández is a Mexican ranchera and mariachi singer, born in Mexico City in 1993. The son of Alejandro Fernández and grandson of Vicente Fernández, he introduced his traditional style on the debut album Sigue la Dinastía, which includes “Te Amaré,” and followed it with Buscando el Olvido. At the 2019 Latin Grammy Awards in Las Vegas, he performed as part of a three-generation family appearance with Vicente Fernández and Alejandro Fernández. He later opened concerts on the US leg of the Hecho en México tour, presenting his own mariachi repertoire before Alejandro Fernández.
