Alex Ubago in Donostia / San Sebastian

Alex Ubago is a Spanish pop singer-songwriter, born in Vitoria-Gasteiz in 1981. His 2001 debut album, ¿Qué pides tú?, introduced songs including “A gritos de esperanza” and “Sin miedo a nada,” recorded with Amaia Montero. “Aunque no te pueda ver” became another central song in his catalogue. After ¿Qué pides tú?, Alex Ubago performed throughout Spain and Latin America, building a concert repertoire around his ballads and guitar-led pop songs. He later appeared in concert with Jorge Villamizar and Lena Burke as the trio Alex, Jorge y Lena. In 2022, the 20 años tour revisited material from across his solo catalogue.
