Alexander Klaws is a German pop and schlager singer and musical-theatre actor, born in Ahlen in 1983 and raised in Sendenhorst. He won the first season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar in 2003, then released the debut single “Take Me Tonight” and the albums Take Your Chance and Here I Am. Alexander Klaws made his musical-theatre debut as Alfred in Dance of the Vampires at Berlin’s Theater des Westens. He later took the title role in Tarzan at Hamburg’s Neue Flora and played Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, Tony Manero in Saturday Night Fever and Sam in Ghost. In 2013, he supported Leona Lewis on the German leg of her Glassheart Tour.
