Artist
Alexandre Desplat is a French composer and conductor, born in Paris in 1961, whose orchestral film scores include The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Shape of Water, The King's Speech and the final two Harry Potter films. He received Academy Awards for The Grand Budapest Hotel and The Shape of Water. In 2014, Alexandre Desplat conducted the London Symphony Orchestra in a concert devoted to his screen music. The performance was recorded for LSO Live as The Film Music of Alexandre Desplat, preserving the composer-led program presented at the Barbican.
