About Alfie Boe

Alfie Boe is a British tenor and actor, born in Fleetwood, Lancashire, in 1973. He sings musical theatre, opera and classical crossover, and is best known for playing Jean Valjean in Les Misérables. His recordings include Bring Him Home and Alfie, while his partnership with Michael Ball produced the album Together.

In 2010, he sang Jean Valjean in Les Misérables in Concert: The 25th Anniversary at The O2 in London. He performed at the Diamond Jubilee Concert at Buckingham Palace in 2012, then returned to the role of Valjean in the Broadway revival in 2015. Beginning in 2016, he and Michael Ball took their recorded partnership into a series of UK arena tours, later building programmes around Together Again and Back Together.
