Ali Wong in Baltimore

Ali Wong is an American stand-up comedian, actor and writer, born in San Francisco in 1982. She became widely known through the Netflix stand-up specials Baby Cobra, Hard Knock Wife and Don Wong, and later starred in the series Beef. She also co-wrote and starred in the romantic comedy Always Be My Maybe. Baby Cobra was filmed before an audience at the Neptune Theatre in Seattle while she was pregnant. Hard Knock Wife followed at Toronto’s Winter Garden Theatre, again recording a set performed during pregnancy. Don Wong was taped at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, extending that run of theatre-based stand-up specials.
