Alicia Witt is an American singer-songwriter, pianist and actor born in Worcester, Massachusetts, in 1975. First known for screen roles in Dune, Twin Peaks and Cybill, she has also built a catalog of piano-led pop that includes the albums Revisionary History and The Conduit, as well as the holiday song “I’m Not Ready for Christmas.” A 2012 performance at New York’s Rockwood Music Hall was released as Live at Rockwood, documenting her songs in a piano-led concert setting. She later made her Grand Ole Opry debut in Nashville, performing her own material at the piano.
