Alin Coen in Brunswick

Alin Coen is a German singer-songwriter born in Hamburg and the leader of the indie-folk group Alin Coen Band, formed in Weimar in 2007. She writes in German and English; the debut album Wer bist du? introduced songs including “Festhalten” and “Ich war hier,” while later records include We’re Not the Ones We Thought We Were and Nah. Alin Coen Band performed “Ich war hier” for Thuringia at the 2011 Bundesvision Song Contest in Cologne. She later performed orchestral arrangements of her catalogue with the STÜBAphilharmonie, and recordings from the collaboration formed Alin Coen’s live album Alles was ich hab – Live.
