Artist
Aly & AJ are an American pop-rock duo formed by sisters Aly Michalka and AJ Michalka in 2004. Disney Channel appearances helped introduce them to a broad audience, while the albums Into the Rush and Insomniatic produced songs including “Rush,” “Chemicals React” and “Potential Breakup Song.” After recording for a period as 78violet, they resumed the Aly & AJ name and later released A Touch of the Beat Gets You Up on Your Feet Gets You Out and Then Into the Sun and With Love From. The Promises Tour brought the duo back to headlining clubs and theatres in 2018 after a long break from touring, and the Sanctuary Tour followed in 2019. They returned to the road with the theatre-focused A Touch of the Beat Tour in 2022, followed by the With Love From Tour in 2023.
