American Aquarium in London

American Aquarium is an American alt-country and rock band formed in North Carolina in 2006 and led by singer-songwriter BJ Barham. The band is known for plainspoken, autobiographical songs and albums including Burn.Flicker.Die, Wolves, Lamentations and Chicamacomico; recurring songs in its catalog include “I Hope He Breaks Your Heart” and “The Luckier You Get.” The 2016 concert album Live at Terminal West documented a performance at the Atlanta club after years of touring. Following a near-total lineup change in 2017, BJ Barham assembled a new version of the band and returned to the road behind Things Change. The annual hometown gathering Roadtrip to Raleigh became a recurring multi-night event for American Aquarium and its listeners.
