Amjad Ali Khan is an Indian sarod player, born in Gwalior in 1945, who performs Hindustani classical music. The son and student of Hafiz Ali Khan, he is known for carrying forward the Bangash sarod tradition through concert performance, newly composed ragas including Priyadarshini, and the sarod concerto Samaagam.

He has given sarod recitals at Carnegie Hall and the Royal Albert Hall, using the Hindustani format of melodic improvisation supported by tabla. The Scottish Chamber Orchestra commissioned his concerto for sarod and orchestra, and at the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo he performed with his sons Amaan Ali Bangash and Ayaan Ali Bangash.
