Amy Macdonald in Munich

Amy Macdonald is a Scottish singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Bishopbriggs in 1987, who plays folk rock and pop rock. Her debut album, This Is the Life, established her best-known songs, including the title track and “Mr Rock & Roll”; later albums include A Curious Thing, Life in a Beautiful Light and The Human Demands. In 2008, Amy Macdonald performed at Glastonbury Festival during the touring cycle for This Is the Life, and her early festival years also included repeated appearances at T in the Park and a performance at Germany’s Rock am Ring. She later headlined theatres and arenas in Britain and continental Europe. For The Human Demands Tour, she played concert halls with her touring band.
