Hayko Cepkin is a Turkish singer, songwriter, pianist and rock musician born in Istanbul in 1978. His music draws on alternative rock, metal and electronic textures, and he became known through albums including Sakin Olmam Lazım, Tanışma Bitti and Sandık, as well as songs such as “Yalnız Kalsın” and “Fırtınam.” Rock’n Coke brought him to a major festival stage, and in 2010 he performed at Sonisphere Festival on a program that included Metallica and Rammstein. He later revisited his catalogue in Hayko Cepkin Senfonik concerts, arranging the songs for rock band and orchestra.
