anaïs in Wiesbaden

Anaïs, born Anaïs Croze in Grenoble in 1976, is a French singer-songwriter whose work combines chanson, pop and comic character sketches. She became known through the live album The Cheap Show and songs including “Mon cœur, mon amour” and “Christina.” The Cheap Show was recorded in concert at Le Poste à Galène in Marseille and documented her solo setup of voice, guitar and a loop pedal. In 2005, she performed that one-woman set at Printemps de Bourges, building songs onstage through layered vocal and guitar parts.
