Artist
Anciients are a Canadian progressive-metal band formed in Vancouver in 2009. Their music carries the weight of sludge and stoner metal through long-form, guitar-led compositions. They are known for the albums Heart of Oak, Voice of the Void and Beyond the Reach of the Sun. In 2013, Anciients supported Lamb of God on North American dates after the release of Heart of Oak. The band later brought that material to European audiences, performing at Roadburn Festival in Tilburg and Hellfest in Clisson.
