Artist
Andreas Gabalier is an Austrian singer born in Friesach in 1984 and raised in Graz. He plays folk-rooted pop, schlager and rock under the banner “Volks-Rock’n’Roll,” and is known for songs including “I sing a Liad für di,” “Amoi seg’ ma uns wieder” and “Hulapalu,” as well as the albums Herzwerk and Mountain Man. The Mountain Man tour supported his 2015 album in arenas across Austria and Germany. In 2016, he recorded MTV Unplugged at the Odeon Theater in Vienna and took that acoustic program on tour. He marked ten years as a recording artist in 2019 with a concert at Munich’s Olympiastadion.
