Artist
Angelika Express is a German indie-rock band formed in Cologne in 2002. Its German-language punk and power pop are represented by the albums Angelika Express and Alltag für Alle, and by songs including “Geh doch nach Berlin” and “Ich bin kein Amerikaner.” In 2005, the band ended its first period after touring behind its first two albums. Angelika Express reunited in 2008 and returned to the German club circuit, later adding material from Goldener Trash and subsequent records to its concerts. The concerts use a full-band rock setup centered on the vocals and guitar of songwriter Robert Drakogiannakis.
