Angelo De Augustine in Kingston

Angelo De Augustine is an American singer-songwriter from Southern California whose hushed indie folk is built around fingerpicked guitar, piano and close-miked vocals. His catalog includes the albums Swim Inside the Moon, Tomb and Toil and Trouble, as well as A Beginner’s Mind, recorded with Sufjan Stevens. Songs such as “Time” and “You Needed Love, I Needed You” are central to his work. Angelo De Augustine opened for Sufjan Stevens on dates of the Carrie & Lowell tour, performing his songs in a spare solo setting. He later moved between guitar and piano for a Tiny Desk Concert at NPR Music.
