Angham in Doha

Angham is an Egyptian singer, born in Alexandria in 1972, whose music spans Arabic pop and Khaleeji song. She began recording as a teenager, initially performing compositions by her father, Mohamed Ali Suleiman. Her catalog includes the songs “Sidi Wesalak,” “Omry Maak” and “Bahebak Wahashtiny,” as well as the albums Nefsy Ahebak and Ahlam Barea. Angham has returned to the Cairo Opera House for concerts drawing on her long Arabic-language catalog. She has also performed for major regional festival audiences at Mawazine in Rabat and the Carthage International Festival in Tunisia.
