Ann Hampton Callaway is an American jazz and cabaret singer, pianist and songwriter born in Chicago. She wrote and performed the theme song “The Nanny Named Fran” for the television series The Nanny, and Barbra Streisand recorded her composition “At the Same Time.” Her recordings include To Ella with Love and Blues in the Night. Callaway toured with her sister Liz Callaway in the stage revue Sibling Revelry, then made her Broadway debut in the musical Swing!, earning a Tony Award nomination for her performance. The sisters later reunited for Boom!, while her solo engagements have included New York appearances at Birdland and 54 Below. Her concerts feature jazz standards, cabaret songs and her own compositions, performed at the piano or backed by a jazz ensemble. Among her named programs is The Streisand Songbook, devoted to music associated with Barbra Streisand.
