Anna Vissi in Athens

Anna Vissi is a Greek singer of Cypriot origin, born in Larnaca in 1957, whose music spans Greek pop and modern laïko. She is known for songs including “Dodeka,” “Agapi Ipervoliki” and “Everything,” as well as the albums Travma and Kravgi. She represented Greece at Eurovision in 1980 and 2006, and Cyprus in 1982. In 2000, she gave a concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London, followed four years later by an appearance at the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games. Beginning in 2015, she established a recurring residency at Hotel Ermou in Athens and returned for successive seasons.
