Anne Linnet in Copenhagen

Anne Linnet is a Danish singer-songwriter, composer and musician, born in Aarhus in 1953. She played in Shit & Chanel in the 1970s, then led Anne Linnet Band and Marquis de Sade. Her best-known songs include “Tusind stykker” and “Forårsdag,” while the album “Barndommens gade” set poems by Tove Ditlevsen to music. Roskilde Festival has featured her both under her own name and through her band work. In 2019, she reunited with Sanne Salomonsen and Lis Sørensen for the Anne, Sanne & Lis concerts, revisiting songs associated with their years together; the reunion included a performance at Royal Arena in Copenhagen.
