About Annie Hart

Annie Hart is an American singer, songwriter, keyboardist and composer, best known as a co-founder of the Brooklyn synth-pop trio Au Revoir Simone. Her solo albums include Impossible Accomplice and Weight of a Wave, extending her work with synthesizers and understated pop songwriting beyond the group.

As a member of Au Revoir Simone, Annie Hart toured internationally and joined Peter Bjorn and John for North American dates. After releasing Impossible Accomplice, she played club shows under her own name, and later performances added material from Weight of a Wave. At these concerts Annie Hart sang and played synthesizers, a format rooted in her years with Au Revoir Simone.
