Annika Wells is an American singer-songwriter born in 1996 and raised in Sleepy Hollow in Marin County, California. After studying at Berklee College of Music, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue songwriting. She provided vocals and shared a writing credit on Illenium’s “Crawl Outta Love,” which won the International Songwriting Competition grand prize, and also collaborated with him on “Sad Songs” and “Nightlight.” Her own releases include the EPs Eat Dirt and into the undergrowth, while her songwriting credits include work for BTS, the Jonas Brothers, Hailee Steinfeld and the Chainsmokers. In 2019, she joined Illenium on tour, taking their studio collaboration into a live setting alongside Illenium.
