Antimatter in Warsaw

Antimatter are a British rock band formed in Liverpool in 1998 by Mick Moss and former Anathema bassist Duncan Patterson. Their music moved from the dark electronic atmosphere of Saviour and Lights Out toward the progressive and alternative rock heard on Leaving Eden, The Judas Table and Black Market Enlightenment. Patterson departed after Planetary Confinement, leaving Moss as the band’s principal songwriter and constant member. Shows supporting Leaving Eden established the full-band format that shaped the group’s later touring. Antimatter subsequently marked the album’s anniversary with An Epitaph Tour, while concerts built around Black Market Enlightenment and A Profusion of Thought brought newer material into a catalogue led by Moss on vocals and guitar. The band’s European concert history has repeatedly included club and theatre dates in Germany and Poland.
