Artist
Aoi Teshima is a Japanese singer and actress, born in Fukuoka in 1987. She made her recording and acting debut in Studio Ghibli’s Tales from Earthsea, voicing Theru and singing “Therru’s Song.” Her other widely known recordings include “Sayonara no Natsu” from From Up on Poppy Hill and the television drama theme “Ashita e no Tegami.” In 2016, she marked a decade since her debut with the Aoi Teshima 10th Anniversary Concert. Accompanied by a small live ensemble, she drew the program from her Studio Ghibli songs and the film standards recorded for the I Love Cinemas series.
