About Arc Angels
Arc Angels are an American blues-rock band formed in Austin in 1990 by guitarists and singers Doyle Bramhall II and Charlie Sexton, bassist Tommy Shannon and drummer Chris Layton. Shannon and Layton had played together in Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble. The band’s self-titled 1992 album includes “Living in a Dream,” “Sent by Angels” and “Too Many Ways to Fall.”
Arc Angels toured behind that debut before splitting in 1993. The musicians later reunited for performances in Austin, and a concert at Stubb’s was documented on the live release Living in a Dream.
