Artist
Arena are a British neo-progressive rock band formed in 1995 by keyboardist Clive Nolan and drummer Mick Pointer. Their catalogue includes the albums Songs from the Lion’s Cage, The Visitor and Immortal?, while long-form pieces such as “Solomon” and “The Hanging Tree” established the group’s dramatic, keyboard-led approach. The 1997 live album Welcome to the Stage documented Arena’s early touring repertoire. Breakfast in Biarritz followed performances supporting Immortal?, and the band later marked its twentieth anniversary with the concert film XX, recorded in Katowice in 2015.
