About Arijit Singh
Arijit Singh is an Indian playback singer, born in Jiaganj, West Bengal, in 1987. He is known for Hindi and Bengali film music, particularly “Tum Hi Ho” from Aashiqui 2, “Agar Tum Saath Ho,” “Channa Mereya” and “Kesariya.”
In 2024, he performed at Co-op Live in Manchester and Utilita Arena Birmingham as part of a UK arena run. The concerts used a live band for sets drawn largely from his Hindi film catalogue, and the run reached The O2 in London, where Ed Sheeran joined him for “Perfect.”
