Armia in Torun

Armia is a Polish rock band formed in Warsaw in 1984 by vocalist Tomasz Budzyński, guitarist Robert Brylewski and French-horn player Sławomir Gołaszewski. The band plays hardcore punk marked by French horn, experimental arrangements and progressive-rock structures. Its central works include the album Legenda and the song “Niezwyciężony,” followed by records such as Triodante and Duch. In 1986, Armia performed at Jarocin Festival, an important stage for Poland’s independent rock scene. The band later marked the twentieth anniversary of Legenda with a series of concerts in 2011, led by Tomasz Budzyński.
