Arthur H in Vendôme

Arthur H is the stage name of French singer-songwriter and pianist Arthur Higelin, who was born in Paris in 1966. The son of Jacques Higelin, he writes chanson shaped by jazz, rock and electronic music, and is known for his gravelly baritone, piano playing and songs including “La Boxeuse amoureuse.” His catalogue includes the albums Bachibouzouk, Trouble-fête and L’Homme du monde. The Mystic Rumba concerts revisited Arthur H’s catalogue in a solo piano-and-voice format. He has also toured with a band for album-led shows and brought that repertoire to the Olympia in Paris.
