Artur Rojek in Krakow

Artur Rojek is a Polish singer, songwriter and musician, born in Mysłowice in 1972. He co-founded the alternative-rock band Myslovitz and served as its vocalist until 2012 before beginning a solo career. His solo work includes the albums Składam się z ciągłych powtórzeń and Kundel, as well as songs such as “Beksa” and “Syreny.” In 2014, Rojek brought his first solo album to Open'er Festival, establishing a full-band concert repertoire after two decades of touring as a group frontman. He later recorded an MTV Unplugged performance that revisited material from both stages of his career in acoustic arrangements, and those songs also formed the basis of an MTV Unplugged concert tour.
