As I Lay Dying in Roseville

As I Lay Dying is an American metalcore band formed in San Diego in 2000 by vocalist Tim Lambesis. Their music pairs melodic guitar lines with hardcore rhythms and screamed vocals. The albums Frail Words Collapse, Shadows Are Security and An Ocean Between Us produced staples including “94 Hours,” “Through Struggle” and “Nothing Left.” The band played Ozzfest in 2005 and joined the Warped Tour in 2007 as its audience expanded beyond metal clubs. Following several years away, As I Lay Dying returned for a 2018 concert at SOMA and resumed international headline touring around Shaped by Fire. In 2022, the band marked its anniversary on the Two Decades of Destruction tour.
