Ashanti & Trey Songz in Airway Heights

Ashanti is an American R&B singer, songwriter and actress born in Glen Cove, New York, in 1980. Her self-titled debut album introduced “Foolish,” “Happy” and “Baby,” while her vocals on Ja Rule’s “Always on Time” and Fat Joe’s “What’s Luv?” became central to her early catalogue. The Natural High Tour took Ashanti on the road with Ja Rule and Charli Baltimore in 2002. She sang “America the Beautiful” before Super Bowl XXXVII in San Diego the following year, then performed at the Philadelphia edition of Live 8 in 2005.

Trey Songz is an American R&B singer and songwriter born in 1984 in Petersburg, Virginia. He debuted with I Gotta Make It and became known for songs including “Can’t Help but Wait,” “Say Aah,” “Bottoms Up” and “Slow Motion,” as well as the albums Ready, Passion, Pain & Pleasure and Trigga. In 2010, he joined Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 Tour and later opened for Usher on the OMG Tour. He followed his own Chapter V World Tour with a 2015 co-headlining run alongside Chris Brown on the Between the Sheets Tour, which also featured Tyga. In 2017, he returned to theatres across North America for the Tremaine Tour.
