ASOMVEL & Black Spiders in Wolverhampton

ASOMVEL are a British heavy metal band formed in Harrogate in 1993. They play fast, direct hard rock rooted in traditional metal, represented on the albums Kamikaze, Knuckle Duster and World Shaker. ASOMVEL performed at Bloodstock Open Air in 2016, taking their compact guitar, bass and drums lineup onto a major UK metal-festival stage. Their later festival appearances included Hellfest in Clisson, where the same power-trio format carried their catalogue to a wider European audience.

Black Spiders are a British hard-rock band formed in Sheffield in 2008. Their riff-heavy music draws on classic hard rock, stoner rock and heavy metal; key releases include the albums Sons of the North, This Savage Land and Black Spiders, as well as the song “KISS Tried to Kill Me.” In 2011, Black Spiders played Download Festival after releasing Sons of the North. That period also included support dates with Airbourne and Volbeat. In 2017 they ended their first run with a farewell show at Corporation, then reunited in 2020 and later performed at Bloodstock Open Air.
